A themed wedding can be anything you want it to be. It can be as big, or small as your imagination. Anything is possible from a theme like a traditional Scottish wedding, to a Science Fiction theme (Star Wars, Star Trek, etc.), to a Renaissance wedding, to a Formal Military ceremony.  A theme should reflect the personalities of the couple; there is no right, or wrong themed wedding.  It is up to you, and only limited by your imagination.  Pirates, elves, lords, and ladies are all present and welcome.
